The Fargesia Angustissima is often referred to by it's old name Borinda Angustissima.

This bamboo has plentiful delicately arching culms which appear as a purple colour with a powdery white bloom. It shows off an abundance of very slim leaves which gives it a graceful appearance.

This is not the hardiest bamboo for exposed areas of Scotland but will be happy in a more sheltered spot.
