One of the bamboos most in demand due to its shear size potential.
In its native growing conditions this plant can grow to a staggering 20metres +, however in the UK it reaches an average of 10m. Canes can grow to a mammoth 7 inches in diameter making it one of the thickest canes available on the market.
In China these plants grow as a forest and are frequently harvested as a timber for construction.
While the 'Moso' can grow into giant proportions it is extremely well behaved making it very desirable for the UK garden.
Our 3L plants are approx 40-50cm high with multiple culms. A little patience will be required until this bamboo starts to show signs of maturity - but worth the wait for those who want BIG bamboo in their garden.
