The Phyllostachys Aureosulcata bamboo has dark matt green canes streaked with a soft golden yellow groove.

This bamboo often has dramatic kinks on the lower section of the young culms - hence why it is referred to as the crooked stem bamboo.

The canes mature to give a straight, upright plant with a glossy olive green leaves. The canes of this bamboo will grow in a slightly open habit forming a nice grove or specimen plant. Its nice upright habit also lends well to screening.
