The Fargesia Utilis is a must for any large garden where its full potential and beauty can be appreciated.
The Utilis has delicate cascading branches with small narrow leaves taking the shape of a mushroom as it matures. The culms first appear pale green and darken with age, often to a very dark red colour if planted in a sunny spot.
Although not recommended for the smaller garden due to the sheer size of the crown, it can be grown successfully in containers if thinned regularly.
