Eucalyptus

No tropical planting scheme would be complete without a few evergreen trees. Eucalypts have a selection of very hardy species, some of which are included here. Many of these trees can grow very tall, but with their thin branch structure the crown will produce dappled shade - ideal when out relaxing in your tropical setting during the Summer months. If you don't have room for a fully grown tree within your garden, simply cut it back in Spring and enjoy an abundance of young leaves and stems. Let the tropical smell fill your garden, giving you a reminder of those fond holiday memories.
